Covenants & Amendments

The Weathersfield Service Group VI is the organization that is chartered to administer the affairs of the neighborhood. The group is chartered under the final declaration of the covenants, which was re-stated in 2008. (The signatures are maintained in the organization’s safe deposit box.) Since then, the covenants have been amended three times. The first amendment, filed in Feb. 2011, changed the provisions regarding Insurance. The second, filed in May 2014, changed the Architectural Control and Maintenance provisions to allow owners to build screened porches on their property. The third amendment, placing a limit on the number of rental units allowed at any one time in the Weathersfield community, was filed in December 2022.

Whenever reviewing the covenants, the reviewer must consider all four documents to have a complete understanding of the covenants that control Weathersfield Service Group VI. All four documents are available below.
