INSURANCE ALERT: Notice of Master Policy Deductible Increase

Dear WSG-VI Homeowner,

This is to notify you that the WSG-VI Deductible rate is rising from $10,000 (ten thousand US dollars) to $25,000 (twenty-five thousand US dollars) per home. This new rate was approved by the WSG-VI Board of Directors and will allow WSG-VI to continue an annual insurance premium to cover the costs of each townhome as per our Covenants and By-Laws.

PLEASE READ THE ATTACHED FLYER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If you cannot open the attachment, please contact Millhouse Properties at michelle@millhouseproperties.com.

The change is taking place APRIL 1st, 2026. You’ll need to contact your HOA-6 insurance agency as soon as possible.

For questions or concerns, please refer to the attached document.

Thank you 😊

Rebecca Newton, Chair – WSG-VI on behalf of the WSG-VI Board of Directors

FALL PRUNING

Fall pruning of Weathersfield common areas will begin this coming Friday, October 10. Pruning of individual residences will begin on Friday, October 17. If you wish to assume responsibility for having your property pruned, please email me by October 10 and I will provide you with red tape to tie around your porch post. In addition I will provide the workers doing the pruning with a list of residences not to be pruned. Workers will not do any pruning on properties that are marked with tape around the porch post. Please do not mark individual plants. If you have any questions feel free to email me.

SPRING PRUNING SCHEDULED FOR MAY 12 – 16

Marking tape will be placed on benches in each Close on Thursday, May 8. If you wish to opt out of pruning, tie a piece of tape around a post on your porch. This will signal that no pruning should take place anywhere on your property (the landscaped areas in front of and along the side of your home).

This variation of the tape system has been adopted by Countryhouse and has worked well.

WEED SPRAYING DELAYED

Spraying did not take place today (Wednesday April 9) due to weather conditions earlier this week. Ruppert will notify me when spraying takes place—hopefully by the end of this week. Another notice will be posted as soon as it is completed.  Although I am assured this spray poses no harm to animals, I recommend keeping pets off mulched areas for 48 hours after spraying.

I have conferred directly with the member of the Ruppert crew who will do the spraying. He showed me the no-spray list on his phone and told me he does not need the tape. He has confidence that he can work from the list. Therefore, you may remove the tape at any time. You may leave any unused rolls of tape on a bench in your close and I will pick it up early next week.
